You never know what treasure is on the inside of a person. Unless you care to search it out and see them beyond where they are, currently.
There is a treasure of wealth that has been placed inside that may or may not have been discovered. May or may not have learned how to cultivate and put to use for elevating life. Thoughts and belief, first.
Not judging a book by its cover. Never out a period where there should be a comma.
There are gift(s) that may have not been put to full use yet.
Which made me think of another thing...
There's a church saying... it's not about me.
Those auto-sayings.
Oh, but it is. It's about you, too. To develop and grow. Live the fullness of abundance. Learning, knowing, and actively working your gifts. Knowing your God-identity. Having an impact. As the image bearers of Christ. Love.
Yes, others benefit from what you share with the world. But, so do you. Maturity is one of the results.
Why is it believed God wants to use us up and toss us, our needs, and well-being to the side?
(Not saying all believe that when they say that)
Many say it just because we repeat what we've heard all our lives. No need for repeating sayings that we say without examining the fullness of what it means. Know what and why. It's okay to ask questions and it is okay to repent, change our mind, and turn back to the original truths of God.
What does that mean?
Why do we say it?
History?
What does God feel about it? Is it HIS truth?
Ask, seek, and knock.
Seek God. His kingdom and righteousness, first. 🩵
